Trauma Recovery

Trauma can embed itself in our physical and emotional selves, having an impact on our wellbeing, and influencing how we engage in our relationships.
It affects how we relate, trust and connect with the people in our lives.

Traditional and conventional methods such as talk therapy and medicine may not fully resolve trauma’s long lasting and lingering effects. Emerging research suggests a more holistic approach. This approach emphasises the power of embodied connection. It invites us to rediscover what it feels like to be in secure attachments and be fully ‘seen’ for who we are.

It teaches us how to be patient with ourselves, to be still, to listen and to truly experience the healing that only genuine human connection can provide.
In this way, we can allow past, unresolved experiences to find a sense of closure and completion.
In the world we live in, we are breathing through all sorts of trauma constantly. Its a lot for our nervous systems and minds to take in. There is a strong link between emotions and disease. It really helps to work with someone to filter out what’s not helpful, stay focussed on our path, have healthy relationships and remain happier.

The wisdom of the body is available to you. Embrace it. Harness it.

‘Our brains are wired for connection, but trauma rewires them for protection. Thats why healthy relationships are difficult for wounded people’ – Ryan North

Natasha has truly been a guiding light for me, she is so incredibly attentive and intelligent in her use of words, explanations, theories and personalised guidance.. She has been so supportive and non-judgmental which is so important. You feel safe and heard right off the bat and you know that she speaks from a place of experience. While I still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of truly getting to know and understand myself.. I’ve gained so much in the short amount of time that I’ve worked with Natasha.. she has helped me tremendously make sense of my emotions, patterns of thinking, certain behaviors..the list goes on! I’m excited to continue with this journey of understanding myself and develop healthier coping mechanisms.. honestly, therapy with Natasha has been a transformative journey of self-discovery for me.

I feel like you’ve given me reason and helped me make sense of certain behavioral patterns I’ve always had and couldn’t quite understand why, and that’s been incredibly eye opening.

The physical exercises we do taught me so much about myself and I would’ve never experienced any of that if it wasn’t for your deep guided meditations.

To have a person like Natasha professionally or personally in your life is nothing short of a blessing. She is incredibly clear with her methodologies. At the same time, offers her most gentle and empathetic side to her clients. Sessions with her were filled with intimate discoveries.

Outcome has been my continual exercise of self love and understanding. None of this would have been possible without Natasha’s professional service as well as her personal commitment to help her clients. Incredibly confident and professional with her work and a kind giving person is the rare combination you find in her. My everlasting gratitude and respect for her.

Well it was a holistic approach taken by Natasha Mam which involved in integrating mind body soul holistically to synergise in being present now. It’s not a typical counselling it’s a contemporary way of getting over the scars if not the least you do get out of the session is you can heal those wounds and learn. In this whole journey human loses self confidence after being vulnerable however Natasha focused on personality development and communication development to over come the self doubt of having wounds. Sometimes we forget to love ourselves and Natasha reminds you that every second is to be loved and lived. The vertical integration of synchronising dealing with trauma and still standing on two feet to thrive. Natasha also focused deeply in somatic therapy which should become a mandate for everyone. Yoga makes me some what boring , Natasha subtly introduces yoga practices to overcome the daily ups and downs and being control of oneself in the present.

I have experienced healing of the traumas and the least to accept them and overcome the fear. The anxiety of curiosity changes to being curious. A few sessions and all the fog in the head causing delusion of thoughts gets cleared. There is hope at the end of the tunnel but you need to reach to the tunnel first before searching for the light we end up being engrossed in searching the light that we forget the small sparks and enlightenment towards the journey of light is the fuel to ignite that light. Natasha clearly gives you tips and tricks to not miss out on the sparks of life. Everyone has their own sparks but you can’t find them till you get over the marks of your wounds. Amplifying empathy is Natasha’s forte. You learn to be a human who’s more presentable embracing the wound and turning them into your life as pieces and work of art. On this journey you find your true self in reality and not reelity. Communication development helps self doubt of the wounds of trauma you understand this when you are with Natasha . The wounds had taken some traits of my personality away but Natasha helps in growing and nurturing you in your strengths and weaknesses.
